Tips on Driving Traffic to your Website
Have you created an awesome website for your business, but don’t seem to have many people coming to your site? This happens frequently to new websites, and sometimes sites that have been on the internet for some time. Perhaps you have had a site online for a while, and your users or traffic has dwindled. Perhaps you remodeled your site, made it more user-friendly, added some great content, but still don’t get the results you have been looking for. Think of it this way. On the internet, there are no boundaries. People from all over the world are trying to get there “piece of the pie”. There are over 1 billion people on the internet today, and you can tap into that potential, but first those people must know that you exist. Try this test yourself. Go to any search engine of your choosing, and type a keyword that directly links to a service or part of your website. Hit search and see if your site even shows up on the first five pages. Most people will pick a link on the first page of results that come up. Some might go to the second or third page to look, but not many. Over 80% of the traffic on the internet comes from people using search engines, and clicking on the corresponding links of what they are looking for. So, in order to tap into that potential, you need to get your website on the first or second page of search results with certain keywords that relate to your website.
